The Seventh Earth Connection:
Anaxagoras broadens the thematic thread
to the albums which started in 'Pteranodon' with a general
backdrop of pre-history with a bit of mythology. Anaxagoras
begins to focus on ancient Greece, early philosophy and celestial
bodies, which is where the sequence of the albums begins to
overlay onto pre-historic continent movement and the themes
of Earth formation - the Mediterranean being the 'tear' in
the early African rock plate. But I'll stop there with the
technicalities because that's all laid out on The Seventh
Earth site. The albums to follow continue to develop along
this line of musically and thematically linking the pattern
of continent breakup and earthquake paths.
